    How your website gets built

    Here is what happens after you get in touch.

    For accepted free portfolio projects, there is no deposit or final payment. You can request a free preview before committing. Scope is agreed first; supported hosting stays free after the six months of included maintenance, and further edits are optional.

    Step 1 · Tell us about the project

    Send a request with a little about your business, the website you need and any dates we should know about.

    Step 2 · Agree on the work

    We confirm the pages, features, content and timing, then recommend a package or prepare a custom quote.

    Step 3 · Approve the agreement

    For paid projects: Once the agreement is approved, the 50% deposit starts the project. Payment instructions are confirmed directly. Portfolio projects have no deposit or final payment.

    Step 4 · Review the first draft

    We build a complete first draft using the agreed plan and your materials. You receive a preview link to review.

    Step 5 · Send your feedback

    Send your changes together so we can complete each revision round. Additional rounds are $145 CAD each. Any paid addition requires the client's approval before work begins.

    Step 6 · Pay the balance and launch

    For paid projects: The remaining 50% is due when the agreed work is complete. We launch and hand over the site after it is paid. Monthly care is optional. Portfolio projects have no deposit or final payment. Portfolio hosting remains free after six months and is independent of any optional Cura or Custodia subscription.
